This series, directed by John Roecker (        In Just Say Love, when a relationship between two men that begins as pure sex and then becomes something more, the        Stockard Channing stars in The Matthew Shepard Story, an excellent Lifetime film (the network for women and gay men) as Judy Shepard, mother of Matthew, a young gay man who was beaten to death and who has become a symbol of gay hate crimes everywhere. In 1998, a young gay man by the name of Matthew Shepard was robbed, viciously beaten and left tied to a fence to die. This film recounts the events leading up to the attack, the attack itself, the trial and the after-effects on the Shepard family and Laramie, Wyoming. While this TV movie bites off more than it can chew, it's a moving story that needs to be told, and re-told, and told again. Have some tissues handy and enjoy Stockard Channing's performance, she chew's up the screen.        Definitely not for the squeamish, and most certainly not a porn film, Pornography is filmmaker David Kittredge's simultaneously sexy and sinister journey into the life of a missing gay adult star.        At the center of La Mission, a wonderful film, set in SF's Mission District, is Jesse, a gay teen and his dad Che (Benjamin Bratt of

You're free to have sex with as many men as you like. Risky? Of course. Especially if your wife finds out. Martin Foley has secrets more shocking than yours and mine. But when his daughter comes home from college with her suspicious new boyfriend Scott, Martin's secrets come dangerously close to surfacing. Martin's relationship with this young man puts his future and his family in peril. It's not just a bad birthday... it's murder.        In this bizarre film, bound to be a cult classic, insanely narcissistic (closeted) Monty flexes his muscles all day, sexually taunting his cute little brother who in turn plays with a loin-cloth covered, very small Asian man crouching in his human birdcage, to which he is chained. It doesn't get weirder or more homoerotic than in this surreal trip of a film.        Writer-director Simon Chung, whose film Innocent put him among the leaders of Queer Asian Cinema, raises the bar once again with this extraordinary tale of sexual obsession, unrequited love and psychological isolation – evoking imagery and themes from such gay classics as Brokeback Mountain and Boys Love that are equal parts sensual, eloquent and heartrending while creating a mood and sensibility all its own. Boyishly cute Ming (Chi-Kin Lee) is a 22-year-old Hong Kong male prostitute whose party-boy ways land him in a Christian reformatory camp. As the story unfolds recalling his relationship with his boyfriend and his ex-roommate – sharing both drugs and “clients” with the latter – Ming falls for Keung (Guthrie Yip), a handsome former drug addict who has been assigned as his sponsor. When Ming and Keung each return to the outside world, they face an uncertain future both sexually and emotionally – and will need to rely on each other to weather any storm on the horizon. A hit at film festivals around the world, End of Love abandons the usual themes of identity and coming out which are often characteristic of gay Asian cinema and presents a mature, involving and quite entertaining look at what it’s like to be young and gay in modern-day Hong Kong.        A crisply told independent drama, Rosser Goodman’s intimate film tells the story of Trevor and his friends in crises.        In this spare, elegant, and moving film, two men of different races, different backgrounds, and different temperaments find themselves falling for one another. Their love story has been woven into this gorgeous tapestry of a film.
